Glengour in the Tinker's Hole, Ross of Mull
Mizzen up for lunch-stop south of Craobh Haven

Nothing quite matches the pleasure of arriving at a favourite West Coast anchorage, amidst timeless scenery, having made passage in a vintage vessel as capable and as joyous as Glengour.  A relaxing evening ahead brings another level of peace as you absorb the unique atmosphere on board.

You can settle in on one of the buttoned velvet settees in the cosy Saloon;  Or end a memorable day's sailing by watching a sunset from up in the Wheelhouse, still warm from the heat of the day;  Or do some passage planning at the Nav. Station for the next exploit in the old girl.

Tomorrow's challenge might be a tricky new anchorage to find and explore.  It tickles the senses to wonder if Glengour has already dropping anchor there at some point over the last ninety summers.  Her distinctive rig maybe still recognised by an old fisherman at his window...

This unique and captivating little ship has a real presence and you feel part of something quite special when you're involved with the wonderful world of "The Famous Glengour".

Thank you to McBryde.

Thank you to Adam's workforce.

Many Happy Returns to Glengour, still going strong at 90.

  Cheers,  R&R 2024
